Nàdair Support Services
Nàdair Support Services Ltd. (NSS) is the trading arm of the Nàdair Trust. It is a social enterprise - a business that competes in the open market, but combines trading with social, community and environmental aims. We undertake work throughout rural and remote Scotland; profits go towards supporting the charitable work of the Nàdair Trust in Argyll, the Argyll Isles, and the isles of Arran and Cumbrae.
NSS undertakes contracts and service level agreements on behalf of charitable organisations, government agencies, commercial companies and individuals. Examples of the type of project that we get involved in are:
- delivering grant programmes to promote sustainability of rural communities
- managing corporate social responsibility programmes
- providing a local contact/delivery point for national organisations
- organising conferences and tours
- providing project planning, development and fundraising assistance
- undertaking direct management of heritage/community projects
Since 2001, Nàdair has contributed to the development and management of nearly seventy successful community-based projects through the Nàdair 1 and Nàdair 2 programmes . We have been involved in UK and European funding initiatives, including the management of two major programmes on behalf of the Heritage Lottery Fund, which together represent a total investment in excess of £7.7m in the Argyll Islands. We have a wide range of skills and experience within our core staff, and can draw upon a network of specialists covering all aspects of rural development, tourism and heritage preservation.

If you decide to ask NSS to undertake work for you, we will provide you with a contract proposal and an estimate of fees.
